Silent Running is one of my favorite hard science fiction movies and I was able to sit through Mission to Mars, but episode 2 and 3 are the ONLY movies I have ever fallen asleep watching in the theater. |

I like him as a director. Even though it wasn't what people expected, Super 8 was great, so was Fringe, Star Trek, I have some issues with Cloverfield but that's more on the writer anyway... |

You all make me laugh. It's Star Wars. Of course you're going to watch it. Then we'll all pick it to pieces, like we think we could've done better, and vow that we're done with it, until episode 8 comes out, repeat cycle. |

@auburnjunky joss wehdon is some kind of god. he could take care of both avengers and star wars. besides i wouldnt expect to see another avengers movie until we get the next iron man thor and captain america out of the way. he has lots of time. joss wehdon should write it too. and joss wehdon should make a new indiana jones movie. one with out shia ladouche. |

There's a pretty good car chase {flying cars of course} in the second one but that's all. In the third, well if you ignore the horrible dialog, terrible acting, stupid plot line, if you ignore all that then the movie is just terrible.

A discussion at work led to the conclusion that the director's addiction to CG mass-character (or machinery, or creature) scenes ruined the second batch (sorry, don't know the term you use). The originals gave you lots of one- and two-shots, close quarters, even ECUs, that gave you a feeling for the characters. Huge, confusing scenes with 20 things to look at really detracted from the story

I gave up on the Star Wars franchise the second I saw & heard Jar Jar Binks. Actually it was even sooner than that, when the Special Edition Trilogy Box Set was released in 1997 and George Lucas added all that sh*t to the films which were fine the way were originally. I gave him the benefit of the doubt with the Phantom Menace, but like I said, Jar Jar took care of that. To this day I haven't seen the other 2 and probably never will. |
