Why do car companies use different names for the same model in different countries? In Australia a Miata is a Mazda MX-5. I can understand it when there's a language difference but a lot of the time it just seems like silly marketing stuff; a name not testing well in focus groups perhaps...? Confusing when some cars have the same name everywhere and others don't. |

Meh, I don't care about close to the door I care about a hassle free spot upon leaving.
Small cars are why I drive so slowly in parking lots, absolutely nothing to do with pedestrians ;). I do it because I loathe when I have to jerk to a stop while in a wide turn and block traffic. When that happens I always seem to have at least four cars worth of people glaring at me but they sneak up into my get out of the way space. Those people are the real bastages not the silly small car parker who doesn't seem to know how to be courteous. |

This just happened to us at the grocery store on Sunday. It wasn't a Miata, but another compact bastard being all sneaky. I don't mind so much during the warmer months, but when it's as cold as it's been the last week, it drives me bonkers. Stupid little cars. Get your own parking lot!! |

Around here it's usually smart cars or motorcycles who are to blame for getting your hopes up. I could care less because I'm not one of those people who drive around a parking lot for 15 minutes looking for a spot. I always park in the first spot I see because I'm not lazy. |
