Thursday, January 24, 2013 7:40:29 PM @Finker - yes but we are having lots of added to lots of food products often without our knowledge or consent. It is being added to bread ,milk and many other products. Omega 3 is just one example of this practice. I like to know what I am eating. perhaps its not the best example but it highlights the fact that substances are being added to our food. |

Wednesday, January 23, 2013 10:32:42 PM I wanna Know why they keep sticking additives in our food. e.g. Omega 3 in milk. what happens if someone is allergic to certain things? Milk should be milk.nothing else.If I need Vitamins, minerals, omega 3 etc I will eat fish. who the hell are they to decide its what I need. Its getting hard to find products that are pure and unadulterated. my brother had an allergic reaction and very nearly died because we didnt know what he was reacting to. |

Tuesday, January 22, 2013 10:58:51 PM Depends on where you're from I guess, or what brand you buy. Dairyland milk in BC (I dunno about the rest of the country), purple is 2%. |

Tuesday, January 22, 2013 4:23:33 PM Purple is usually half & half, iirc. Although I've seen 1/2% (seriously, what's the point? Just get skim) in a purplish color as well. |

Tuesday, January 22, 2013 1:53:31 PM Purple? Milk here comes in Red (whole milk), Blue (2%), Yellow (1%), Pink (skim), Brown (chocolate) and Green (Buttermilk). So what the heck is Purple for? |
