I had a girlfriend when I was younger who did this to me, she split my lip on a few occassions, tried headbutting me quite alot when she got in my face after I would tell her to leave. Broke my hand punching a wall in frustration only for her to kick off again a week later and brake the cast and cause more Damage to my hand.
The one time I stood up for myself by throwing her away from me and onto a bed, a supposed friend got up and beat the drat out of me despite my bloody lip and her with not a scratch on her. just a confused look as to how she got where she was. I got villianised for it and it took a long time to shake my tarred image as a woman beater.
Thankfully there were others there that day who stood up for me and helped get that twat off me before he beat me bloody... |

This kid showed remarkable restraint--his parents should be very proud of him. I know adults who couldn't have held it together like he did. Having said that, if he has a tough female friend of about the same age as that little twerp, she should give her dose, if you know what I mean. |
