Friday, January 18, 2013 9:08:15 AM I've always found that sacrificing a virgin helps, although the I.T. department are starting to ask questions about why their techies keep going missing. |

Thursday, January 17, 2013 11:45:33 PM Some days I dream of kidnapping Bill Gates, sitting him down in front of my computer, and whacking him about the head and shoulders with a whiffle ball bat till he makes his half-baked crapware work the way he promised it would. |

Thursday, January 17, 2013 9:30:23 PM Actually, the best way is to hit Ctrl, Alt, Del, and open up the task manager. Click the "Processes" tab and scroll down until you see the word "explorer". If you look to the right of it, you'll see that there is a huge amount of memory allocated towards this process. Left click it once, and click the "End Process" button at the bottom. Nw you're computer will run smoother than IAB!! ... Which, incidentally, isn't all that hard. |

Thursday, January 17, 2013 8:51:10 PM isn't raging your anger for the gods to hear and angrily bashing the side of the monitor/case the generally approved method? |

Thursday, January 17, 2013 5:20:42 PM Actually, I've noticed on programs that I think aren't responding, but haven't said so, doing that will often get it to say that it is, or is not (well, it doesn't say if it's not, but doesn't say it's stopped). |

Thursday, January 17, 2013 5:17:24 PM That's the limit of my computer troubleshooting skills. Except I find swearing also helps. |
