Funny. My laptop stopped working at some point and I would angry and punch. That did nothing but I dropped it by accident and it was restored to factory condition somehow. thank goodness it didn't go splode. o w o |

Actually, the best way is to hit Ctrl, Alt, Del, and open up the task manager.
Click the "Processes" tab and scroll down until you see the word "explorer".
If you look to the right of it, you'll see that there is a huge amount of memory allocated towards this process.
Left click it once, and click the "End Process" button at the bottom.
Nw you're computer will run smoother than IAB!! ... Which, incidentally, isn't all that hard. |

Actually, I've noticed on programs that I think aren't responding, but haven't said so, doing that will often get it to say that it is, or is not (well, it doesn't say if it's not, but doesn't say it's stopped). |
