Tuesday, January 15, 2013 2:40:26 PM I'm glad I had it muted when I watched, it sounds like that was a smart idea. I wouldn't have let it get away, if it tasted bad it would be mounted. Of course, I wouldn't be feeding fish like that in the first place. Too bad a shark didn't jump up and latch on. |

Tuesday, January 15, 2013 1:50:18 PM I'm sending this to my buddy right now. We were in Key West doing this and he kept giving me poo for not keeping my arm closer to the water. I didn't want this to happen! |

Tuesday, January 15, 2013 1:31:13 PM Looking at the marks on his arm, he's "hand fishing" as opposed to feeding fish for fun. That big one got away! Good fishie! lolz! At least he has pictures... |

Tuesday, January 15, 2013 12:46:06 PM This is nothing out of the ordinary, go to any dock near where deep sea fishing charter boats are tied up. In places like that they will often bring tarpon in for official measurements, weights, and pictures before releasing them into the harbor (since they aren't edible). Due to all the fishing scraps from other fishermen, the tarpon often stay nearby since there is a constant source of food. This looks like it may have been in Key West, they will sell food there to feed the tarpon and I've seen this sort of thing happen before. Tarpon don't have teeth they have a sandpaper like surface in their mouth, it won't pierce the skin, but you'll have one helluva rash on your arm for a week or so. |
