Saturday, January 12, 2013 12:41:11 PM RIGHT ON!! Ads suck pretty bad. I love installing adblock plus on new computers for the first time, with a user who has never seen it before. They are instantly amazed at how different, easier to use, their favourite web sites are. If there was an adblock for TV commercials we'd be 100% set, but this is definitely the next thing i'm doing with a pre-paid envelope!

Saturday, January 12, 2013 12:04:01 PM Complaining about junk mail is kind of like complaining about commercials on TV or banner ads. The post office making money off junk mail subsidizes your mail and allows you to send a piece of mail across the country for 40 cents. |

If you really want to f*ck with them fill the envelope with glitter or confetti. This ^^^. Or plain flour. Or itching powder. Just be prepared to take the rap for sending a "fake biological terror device" later on. |

Saturday, January 12, 2013 11:37:30 AM Technically, the postage is not pre-paid. The way it works here is that companies pay in bulk to have the junk mail sent but only pay postage for the return envelopes that are sent back. Unless you send something in a flat rate envelope/box the postage is calculated by weight if it's over the max weight. (3.5 ounces for a letter) If you go overboard with the weight chances are the Post Office will notice that and have it inspected to see what's in there then most likely discard it. If you really want to f*ck with them fill the envelope with glitter or confetti. |

At the risk of sounding like 8 bit, I don't quite 'get' the logic here. If anyone is dumb enough to think that prepaid business reply envelopes cost $17.00, they deserve to lose their small change over and over again until it amounts to quite a fine for their stupidity. |
