Thursday, January 10, 2013 6:26:10 PM F*ck your QIA. There are too many letters as it is. Why can't Queer just encompass everything? |

Thursday, January 10, 2013 4:51:49 PM I am bi and I struggled for years to form an idea of what that meant for me. I finally realized that I don't need to conform to a "bisexual handbook", that it's okay to fall in love with someone (he just happened to be male), get married, and just be content with my life because what matters isn't how others define you but how you define yourself. I think these kids are starting to figure that out. |

Seen this before....with every generation. Someone will write a story about how "Todays Youth" are "Forging New Identities" etc blah blah blah. No, hit's just a couple of kids who think it's cool to be somewhat political. In the '70s the kids were all about love. In the '80s it was "greed is good" and in the '90s it was all about "ME generation". Whatever, do differance. You will end up selling your soul to some unknown corporation because baby needs shoes, or you discover you like to eat something other than ramen noodles. Oh, wait, that's called Growing Up. But it's good to be idealistic at that age. You need to have a few years under your belt to be as jaded as I am. |
