@MacGuffin: What you said about S&M is true, it's not a "casual fling" if handcuffs and gags are invovled!...
S&M -ers are actually some of the sanest and most fun people I've been out with. In addition to personal safe words, most fetish clubs have their own 'house rules' that include the compulsion upon observers to step in and help if anyone uses the 'house' safe word and the person on top either doesn't know what to do or is more interested in their own gratification than in making sure everyone has a good time. Also, unlike the meat markets that are most vanilla night clubs, I've never seen anyone get drunk or obnoxious at a fetish club. All-in-all an extremely fun bunch of people to party with. I suspect this guy was playing on his own, though, which is very dangerous. He should just get out more. Which brings me to the time I met a Curate in one of these underground establishments.....but that's a story for another time. ;) |

I'm not complaining, I just think it's funny that an email is sent out saying "it's our policy to avoid reposts whenever possible" when the one's who are guilty of the majority of reposts happen to be the admins or mods or whatever they call themselves. |

A "safe word" is not a toy! Better to have a green - yellow - red system than misusing a safeword.

Well, what can be said about this? Not just a hypocrite, but also it would seem extremely incompetent at bondage. If you're handcuffed and gagged and you're still able to dial a phone and to speak to the person on the other end, that kind of defeats the purpose of the exercise*. Also, it's pretty damn important that you trust your partner to make sure you're alright using safe words and other nonverbal signals**.
So, in conclusion, you're doing it wrong, reverend! ;)
