Wednesday, January 09, 2013 12:01:14 PM @Mr.Peabody: You're hitting "refresh" and accidentally re-posting... lolz! Amazing who many just accept that's it's 100% real, just because it parrots the Democrat mantras. Why would a Repub leave such a card in the first place? It's fake! What's real is your hours being cut to 28 per week, because if you work more, your employer has to start paying tons of extra money for Obamacare. Nice eh? |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 11:21:58 AM Uggghhh. How can people twist their thinking on an issue so drastically? This isn't "extra money you're expected to give a server, which they don't really deserve." This is "here, since job performance as a server is entirely based on customer interaction, you get to decide how much this employee earned. Normally, we would just add their wages into the cost of your food, but this way our servers are held accountable to you." How can you take your frustrations out on someone else like this, and smugly believe they deserve it? |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 11:10:18 AM Yeah, the way I see it is that the douchebag is complaining that he now has to pay his fair share of taxes and he wasn't paying them in the past. |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 10:47:52 AM hat a douche. If he doesn't have enough money for a tip, then he shouldn't eat out. That waiter or waitress pays his or her fair share of taxes, too. -------- its up to the employer to pay a fair wage. No drating way will i pay for a meal, then pay more on top to subsidise a waiters wages. |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 10:28:43 AM That person needs to be taken into an alley, beaten even more senseless, pissed on, and thrown in a dumpster. That is pathetic and I hope the person returns to the restaurant and is recognized so they can do all sorts of vile things to his food. |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 10:23:07 AM So he printed this before he left the house? BTW, I don't hold with that waiters/waitresses only get minimum wage stuff. Sure, I feel sorry for them but it should be down to the employer to stump up not me. |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 10:21:25 AM When it comes to tipping follow the customs of the country you are in. Only takes a few minutes to find out what they are. What does he expect the server to be thinking? 'Oh, wow. I'd better vote Republican so people like this pay less tax, then he might throw me a few bucks.' |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 10:05:57 AM @randomxnp - While yes tipping is considered discretionary, in many parts of the US wait staff get paid a subminimum wage of $2.15 which is not enough to survive on in the US without tips. So to not tip a waiter or waitress who gave you exceptional service is considered extremely rude and heartless, because its basically taking money out of their pockets which they need to make a living. |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 9:57:52 AM S/he could have shopped doctors and saved enough to leave a tip *and* had enough left over to have the stick from their ass removed. |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 9:56:04 AM And paying at five to ten times the amount of the tip for the meal itself isn't discretionary spending? Nice try, jerk. |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 9:53:34 AM In many Asian countries such as Japan, tipping is not required. This weekend I was in a 6 star hotel in China and the room service delivery guy refused to accept a tip, saying "it's my job, I am happy to do it for the pay I get" given that he's paid a pittance compared to an American waitress, that's an impressive response. However, I absolutely would tip in the states. Given the culture, it's an implicit social contract to tip. Mr Pink here doesn't get it, or if he/she does, she's abusing the wait staff to make a political point. Or maybe it's a straw man ploy to get people to hate the GOP (even more.) |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 9:43:51 AM Surely it is massive rises in government spending that are screwed up. It's a tip; its discretionary. Tax is not. If people decided to stop going out to eat the waiters would be out of a job, not out of a tip. |

Wednesday, January 09, 2013 9:43:45 AM Fine dining, for this poodlefish, would be a place where they ask you if you want the combo, and can they supersize your fries. |
