Sure, extensive testing has shown this paint color to be the best for their purpose but ugh ugh, put a bag on it's head now.
It's that aqua/teal/green that offends my color sensibilities. Would have been fine with a smoky turquoise. |

It's a tunnel drilling bit. The colors painted on it are for tracking purposes. when they press the bit against rock, the colors scuff off onto the rock so they can reference where it's making contact & line the bit up to get the most bite out of it... |

Looks a bit like a drill bit for a huge tunnel digging machine. Why a drill bit would be painted with pretty colors, someone else hopefully knows. |

By the size of it I would say it is for a 4 lane tunnel. Most likely to go under the sea as it is in a dry dock and the big cranes in the background. |
