#8 not totally true - an easy google search comes up with the 1986 $2 bill with a canadian flag flying over parliament.
#10 Sporange rhymes with Orange. Sporange is a botanical term for a part of a fern. Chilver rhymes with Silver, chilver defined as an ewe-lamb.
#21 Not true. You can train your goldfish to do tricks which means they have a memory longer than 3 seconds.

Also #24. The Speaker of the House is a position in every Parliament using the Westminster style of government. In fact, not only does the Speaker of the House speak, nobody in the legislature gets to speak without the Speaker's permission. He can kick you out of the house for speaking out of turn AND formally recognizes every Member of Parliament before they speak.

Wow Americans who actually believed that. Very depressing that you are that foolish. The flag is the Red Ensign which was Canada's flag under British rule.
I could see how a nation of people who put Canadian flags on their things when travelling might make that mistake though. |

As a serious bank note and coin collecter I can firmly say 8 is false. The note in question is the 1986 release of the Queen Elizabeth II / Parliament Buildings $2 note. Which unlike its $5 and $10 counterparts clearly has a Canadian flag flying above the Parliament. So, up yours eh! |

It's the old red ensign, which had a union jack in the corner. Because it was engraved, the cross-hatching has sometimes -absurdly- been mistaken for stars. |
