Sunday, January 06, 2013 11:46:00 AM Is no one going to comment on how annoying the little kid screaming at his dog was? I just felt like screaming, "Pick the damn dog up, if you're just going to yell at him!"

Sunday, January 06, 2013 2:34:51 AM @jacos27 - great white sharks are smaller than that when first born live. Admittedly this is a young fish, but its clearly a lamnid. Which is just as well for the rescuer - pulling a carcharinid, like a bull shark, by the tail is likely to demonstrate their greater flexibility, and result in a bite. lamnids are stiffer in body form, more muscle, built for short bursts of speed. There aren't that many lamnids, great white is the most likely inshore, and fin shape and colour all match. |

Saturday, January 05, 2013 9:14:28 PM "That poor shark, it had to go find another beach on which to commit suicide. That was clearly what it wanted since it kept trying to swim back to shore. I guess it finally gave up after the guy kept putting it back in the water." What he said. |

Saturday, January 05, 2013 9:09:58 PM Good on the guy. I would imagine in that situation the shark was pretty harmless. I would of done the same for the shark. |

Saturday, January 05, 2013 6:39:20 PM Sharks don't last long if they don't have water flowing over their gills. Poor thing was so weak didn't look like it was strong enough to get past the tide. |
