Gerry-Last I checked, when they are doing that, it's likely that they don't have a vehicle outfitted for them and their power chair. Plus, when they are on the street, they are considered a pedestrian and pedestrians have the right of way at all times, not just at crosswalks. And this part, is not a dig at you personally, but I drive a semi and people in California are crazy. It's so damned important to get in front of me that it's ridiculous. People need to realize that every damn thing you own, including your car, at some point was on a truck. So slow down, don't cause an accident. I'm sure that wherever people are going, it's going to be there when they get there. As far as the power chairs, they aren't praying for someone to hit them. They have enough problems as it is. |
