So his main argument against recycling is that it destroys art?
The problem is that most of his examples of creative reuse involved the destruction of building and temples. Also, plastic water bottles aren't art. |

This is the problem with TEDx talks, they are largely unregulated and anyone can host them about almost any topic.
I lasted about 2 minutes before it was clear he had nothing useful to say. |

I made it 14 minutes in.... that was the most boring TED Talk I've ever seen. TEDs are always about the future, new and innovative ways of doing or looking at things. This was just a dull powerpoint presentation on the history of recycling.

Yeah, great. Your neighbor takes the tires off his old Ford, paints them white, cuts it so the top is serrated like a cheap crown and then fills them with flowers and lines his driveway with a dozen or so. Your property value has just taken a direct hit. |
