Wednesday, January 02, 2013 9:45:09 PM Wow, next will be auto-inflating stone wheels. The projector/interactive/whiteboard thingies at my kids' school is amazing. First time their teacher showed it to me in action at open house, "oh I SO want one for home!" It turns the entire white board into a touch-screen computer, can use markers, pointers or whatever to interact ... it's unreal. ... or, sure, you could go with the electronically eraseable "CHALKboard". <.< |

Wednesday, January 02, 2013 8:23:20 PM seems like a smart board would be just as expensive and way more effective |

Wednesday, January 02, 2013 11:59:22 AM Oops...forgot to mention... a lot of tech companies including 3M and Apple donate these technologies to schools, so we shouldn't presume that that the school paid for this. Also, we can't presume that the school is public. |

Wednesday, January 02, 2013 11:56:31 AM This technology does more than just erase the board. It also records the information that it erases and can reproduce it. Some can print it on paper, others can reproduce it directly on the whiteboard. It can be incredibly helpful for students who want copies of the board to study. |

Tuesday, January 01, 2013 11:03:06 PM Twenty-eighth. The site is in total crap mode today, I am getting server errors every other time I try to load something. It's a great start to the new year. We'd expect nothing less from fancy. |

Tuesday, January 01, 2013 10:44:04 PM @Elevill the mods ban folk who put 'first' up due to a time when any post which was put up it was hammered with people just saying 'first' Its silly and annoying, but to be fair you did follow up with a comment |

Tuesday, January 01, 2013 10:24:58 PM Crap. I invented this when I was 12 and our teacher wanted us to come up with an invention, illustrate it, and describe it. I got a crummy mark for it as I recall. 46 years later, here it is. |

Tuesday, January 01, 2013 10:02:03 PM Hello Fancylad, about your wishes for 2013 and server response time: "Server Error The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Could not connect to JRun Server." Happy new year nevertheless and continue your fine work. Oh, by the way, the more ads you include, the slower your server response time and the higher your income... If i were you, i would write a nice note on 1.1.2013 and take the money. |

Tuesday, January 01, 2013 9:56:49 PM Twentieth. Seriously, though, I actually didn't even know about that rule. And I've been registered on this site since 2005. And to say the comment is taking up space or that it is childish seems kind of exaggerated, we've all seen plenty more useless and stupid posts here. Like this one for instance, completely irrelevant. |

Tuesday, January 01, 2013 9:36:45 PM To those that got their tightie-whities in a bunch over my typing "First". Get over it, really, it's a word. Deal with it. Secondly, It's the FIRST time I have ever responded with it -and- the first time I made the first post. Ever. Next, I was not aware of any such rule...and honestly, it's seems trite and immature; just like the hater comments that followed it. I would also like to add that it was followed by a relevant comment to the post. If you're going to get thrown into a nerd rage over the word first preceding an actual comment, I would urge you to disconnect your computer from the internet. If I feel the all mighty wrath of the "banhammer" for typing "the word that shall not be named", so be it. I'm sure I'll find some way to persevere through those trying times. |
