You know some emperor at some time was on the verge of having these mass produced and this was just the proof of concept.

I think throwing assault bricks should be banned
as well as assault frizz-bees, beachballs, and paper aeroplanes

If you ban bows and arrows, people will just use the atl atl. The problem is systemic violence in neolithic culture, we have to do something about violent drum beating and depictions of gore on our cave walls.

Don't you see, you small minded, dogmatic cretins? If you ban assault bows and armor piercing arrows, only mechanized Japanese geisha will have assault bows and armor piercing arrows!

You can have her bow when you pry it from her cold, dead, mechanical fingers!

This sucks. Sure, the mechanism is really really cool and all, but she couldn't pierce the target *once*. She should instantly remove her gears for bringing shame upon herself and those around her.

I'm with Gerry1of1, we should at LEAST ban the assault bows and armor piercing arrows.

I call for a ban on bows & arrows.
There is no practical purpose for owning them unless you are going to kill someone.
Ban them before another senseless bow and arrow tragedy occurs!
