There was a pregnant Barbie ("Midge"), but even though she had a husband ("Alan") and a toddler, morons bitched because it "promoted pregnancy to little girls" so it was pulled from the shelves. I got one for my wife when she was pregnant and my daughter now plays with it. Shame - after it was discontinued it became a collector's item. lol. Mattel would not be stupid enough to make a "TEEN pregnancy Barbie (not to mention there's no "Mattel" or "Barbie" on the package. |

Plenty of women out there who work through adverse situations and are (or become) great mothers...but in this case, I'm guessing Mattel is marketing to potential IAB Mom's of the Year, 2013, and/or their Boo-Boo spawn. |
