Saturday, December 29, 2012 8:54:04 AM What an odd thing to videotape. I agree with getting the kid some real drums, starter sets are pretty cheap. |

Friday, December 28, 2012 5:04:58 PM musically talented kid is musically talented. does the fact that he's autistic have anything to do with that? i don't think so. music (and coincidentally math, because math and music are intertwined) is a gift and here it seems his gift has been realized early in life. good for you, drummer boy. i hope to hear your work on the radio some day. |

Friday, December 28, 2012 1:23:13 PM Great display of natural talent with rhythm. I wish my autistic nephew was more musically inclined. He can certainly tell when you're off key by even a little bit because he will put his hands on his ears and sing it right. But it seems his true calling is art |

Friday, December 28, 2012 12:24:02 PM Autism has a huge spectrum of conditions. Some of the most talented and well behaved kids I know are autistic. |

Friday, December 28, 2012 12:03:27 PM Just a kid who was clearly born with musical ability. Not everyone has it but it's common enough that I don't think it makes him special. I took to the guitar like a duck to water when I was 10 yrs old but I don't think it's anything special, just came to me naturally like drums/percussion to this kid. |

Friday, December 28, 2012 10:55:18 AM "Looks like the trolls on this site don't understand what Autism is." I don't think you can blame piperfawn considering the video's title on youtube claims he's autistic, and the title here is exactly the same as that youtube title. |

Friday, December 28, 2012 10:27:37 AM So therefore this is nothing special. ALl it is is a normal kid who has been having percussion lessons for over a year. Move along. |

Friday, December 28, 2012 10:27:25 AM If he was actually autistic this would actually be pretty amazing. Looks like the trolls on this site don't understand what Autism is. |

Friday, December 28, 2012 10:21:32 AM Very talented at something at a really young age that older people can't do as well. He's a witch! What witches don't exist? Then he's autistic! That's the only reasonable explanation of why he is naturally talented at something right? |

Friday, December 28, 2012 9:47:09 AM The original video states: Published on Sep 23, 2012 "Whirled Beat". Boy (age 10) enjoys exploring the undiscovered, percussive sounds of household appliances. He also owns a Pearl drum kit, has been taking lessons for over a year, but is mainly self-taught in general percussion. His main inspirations are Neil Peart and Buddy Rich. Also, there have also been some re-posts of this video on YouTube and other sites containing false information in the title regarding an alleged condition. This rumor first spread due to a misunderstanding by a person who linked to this video a few days ago on reddit.com. Just because a young kid is good at something doesn't make him autistic. Just because some loser reposted the youtube video with a different title doesn't make him autistic either.

Friday, December 28, 2012 9:17:15 AM Nothing...except the fact that this boy is autistic following the youtube title. |
