actually it was a hole in one...it is a competition they have a the masters par 3 course every year..they all try to do it |

I heard rumors of golfers skipping balls on the water before, but never thought it was true.
I've done it -- not on purpose like he did, mind you. I was hitting the ball over a lake with a fairway wood, and I just didn't get the ball up in the air. It took off very low and straight and skipped 3 or 4 times before rolling up the other bank. It didn't go in the hole; in fact I was still nearly 200 yds. out, but it made it across the lake and saved me a penalty shot. |
