It's not a theory. A theory has to make sense and have supporting argument and evidence. Even if this is true (and it might or might not be - many conspiracy babblings state fiction as fact) it's an unsurprising coincidence. A place with the same name briefly appeared in the background of a map briefly shown in the film. Tiny woo. |

@Andrew155: Apparently he stole 4 weapons: two pistols, the AR-15 and a shotgun. He left the shotgun in the car, shot out the glass with the AR-15 and then killed people, mostly or all, with the handguns.
@HG: I thought that quote was odd when I read it, my bad for a mistaken quotation I didn't bother to look up further.

What I never understood was how they found the AR-15 in his car, and yet all the people were killed with AR-15 rounds. Unless there was faulty reporting in my news sources, I don't understand.
As for the conspiracy, there's quite one a-brewing. I saw a post on Facebook that's been shared a few hundred times. Apparently both of the shooters' dads are supposed to testify for the Libor scandal. |

The Aurora shooter had 7 theaters in his area to choose from, only ONE was a "gun free zone".
Guess which one he chose?
Sadly, another theater became "gun free" after the shooting.
Just put up a big sing reading: helpless victems here! It'll save time.

I used to know someone who truly believed all this kind of conspiracy poo and that the government were spying on him.... he was also very obviously mentally ill. It really freaked him out when he asked me what I did for a living and I told him I'd just come out of military intelligence...he honestly thought someone had sent me after him and from that point on refused to even speak to the mutual friends of ours who I met him through.
Most of his beliefs were way wackier than this stuff too...but like I say he was obviously mentally ill and not just misguided. |
