We had one at the door the other afternoon...I was upstairs at the time and I heard he sang rather well. However I knew the encounter was going to go downhill when I heard my girlfriend open her purse to give him some money and then ask him 'which charity is it you're collecting for?'.... "oh it's not for a charity, just me"
I could sense her purse closing again that rapidly it sent a draft around the house. She can't stand adults trying to get free money in the way kids get away with. |
