Tuesday, December 18, 2012 10:17:41 PM A coworker of mine once saw a dating ad with a picture of his daughter that he had put on his Facebook page. |

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 5:44:23 PM People on Facebook complaining about Instagram ANNOUNCING that they're going to sell users information. Facebook doesn't tell anyone and morons still use it.

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 3:04:10 PM so you cant view instagram photos on twitter anymore? s'ok you can see them in the morning paper instead! nothing new here. no breach of rights etc, if TOS says using means rights to sell on then its your own choice. never have bothered with instagram and doubt many will buy images considering theyre just crappy quality photos with crappy quality 'photoshopping' on them in 99.9% of cases |

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 1:47:11 PM I knew that would happen, that's why I never started using it in the first place. That's the same kind of sh*t Apple puts in their EULA. |

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 1:18:57 PM Wouldn't simply not agreeing to the new TOS effectively stop you from having your pics sold? Well, also you won't likely be able to access your account then. |

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 1:15:57 PM @TheLargeOne Not really true. They always reserved the LIMITED right to use your photos in their own products, now they claim the right to re-sell or transfer that right to any third party. They never before claimed the right to sell your property, now they do. If you can't understand the difference, too bad for you... |

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 12:49:37 PM Instagram has ALWAYS had the right to sell your pics. Nothing new here at all. All they did was change the wording of the TOS and everyone is up in arms about it. Why all the outrage now? |

Tuesday, December 18, 2012 12:35:54 PM It's owned by Facebook. No lower for them than I'd have expected. Both Facebook and "We Actually Need To Remind Ourselves Not To Be Evil" Google are worrying in the extreme with the liberties they take with supposedly-private data. Somebody needed to get them in a courtroom years ago. They're too big now, and get away with taking the piss because of that. |
