"Did anyone actually approach him?"
They tried to say things but he ignored them and carried on, trying to drown them out with a PA system. Response therefore seems entirely appropriate. Combined with the t-shirt, do you really think he was there to have his view changed?

Innocent children are shot to death in a school and this idiot is allowed to walk freely on the streets.

"His t-shirt hardly suggested he wanted any actual debate."

Did anyone actually approach him?

Democracy in action, they all had one voice each, he had a PA system. His t-shirt hardly suggested he wanted any actual debate.

He's not a pastor, he's a very naughty boy.

What about all the people killed in the name of the Jews, Christians, Sikhs et al.
If you're denouncing muder that is being justified by the perpetrator as being for religious reasons, you really need to denounce all of it rather than singling out one particular religion.
Otherwise you kind of look like a bigot.

freedom of speech and freedom of not having to listen to it.

Anyway I thought this was a free country where people have the freedom of speech.

I didn't see them stopping the guy from speaking, did you? All they were doing was exercising their right to freedom of speech, so your point is moot.

@thosbeama74 I dont agree with the pastor, but I am highly suspect of the islamic teaching of "taqiyya" but in any case I do agree the pastor does have the right to free speech but so do the singing people. The single point that bothers me is how easily people are willing to follow, most of these people i can guarantee have not read the koran and thus cant make a fully informed opinion but they will automatically refute this man - though none of them cared to discuss intelligently.

Well apparently love didn't help the 3000 people killed on 9/11, or the countless people killed under Saddam's rule or the people killed in Spain and Great Britain or their own people killed all in the name of Islam. Anyway I thought this was a free country where people have the freedom of speech. I guess that only applies to people on the Left side of the aisle and hipster douche bags who think only their opinions matter.

Most of the people who were taped in the video were at least as stupid as the pastor.

all this shows is how stupid some people are and also how easily others can be swept into falling in line with the masses.

Seems a little bit staged.. but if it's true, this is pretty great!
