I truly love ESPN's First take. Steven A. Smith and Skip Bayless are absolutely amazing at their job. They handle politics, race, and just general social topics in a manner that anyone can agree with. This segment was out of the norm and completely idiotic. I missed this episode, but I would not be surprised if Steven A. didn't go off on him, they both hate the race card.
The treat people like people, and to even humor the topic is as equally idiotic. |

- I would say that "Blackness" is more about a general culture that is associated with it, which is generally considered as "lower" to white culture, and given more negative stereotypes as such, hence this guy's issues with "black people acting white". He does do a bad job of explaining it, but there is a point somewhere in there. |

This is called 'Colorism' folks. It's this sort of #teamlightskin #teamdarkskin infighting bullsh|t that is tearing black communities apart.
The vast majority of white people got over 'racism' decades ago, but it still lives within the black society itself. This identity crisis of 'Who is black?' and who isn't is a lot of made of crap. "Blackness" is not about skin color, it's not about being poor, it's not 'the man' putting them down. "Blackness" is a myth, made up by commercial interests to be exploited by those in the power elite.
We are all Americans, not hyphenated-Americans. Get over it, be yourself and not what some stereotype tells you that you have to be. |

rob parker is a racist with a long history of saying derogatory things about white people and black people who dont live up to his idea of what being black should mean. He was hired to appeal to that very large demographic of black Americans that agree with him and he will not be fired. |
