Wednesday, December 12, 2012 6:48:56 PM "This implies that the only people working in their chosen field also graduated college." No, it doesn't. It doesn't say anything about the drop outs. "Bill Gates did not graduate college. I'm pretty sure "Be richest person on the planet" counts as his "chosen career"." Bill Gates took a leave from college because he had the chance to start his own company. He only dropped out because his company was successful and there was no reason for him to go back and finish his course. He's not a normal college dropout, he took what college had to offer and made a successful business out of it |

Wednesday, December 12, 2012 5:01:16 PM This implies that the only people working in their chosen field also graduated college. Lots of successful people didn't graduate college. Bill Gates did not graduate college. I'm pretty sure "Be richest person on the planet" counts as his "chosen career". I graduated college, but I'd be just as successful in my chosen career if I would have dropped out of high school. |
