Superman was made for a generation that was much more easily amused, and asked far less questions of their superheroes. They have tried [and failed] to reinvent superman a few times, but I hope this new take on his origins does well. |

Who's world is this you're speaking about though? The world I live in, that definitely wouldn't be the case. I like the idea of reexamining the origins of Superman because, in reality, Lex Luthor would be one of millions of people on my planet trying to figure out how to do what Superman is doing. On my planet, The Church of Superman would very likely be a very real, very large, entity. On my planet, EVERYONE would be at least somewhat afraid of Superman. |

But let's face it. There are many different interpretations of the Batman character, ranging from Adam West to Bale to Frank Miller's psychotic character.
I think Snyder is a terrible director, but I'm curious to see where they go with this. Nolan has proven to know what he's doing. |

I can't figure out the angle they are trying to take with Supes here. The Batman angle? The world doesn't accept me?
Superman just appears, and kicks ass, and the world loves him for it. No vigilante bullcrap. What the hell is WB doing to DC? They are destroying it.
