PSY's video has 931,401,621 hits on Youtube. It is currently the most viewed video on the site. That alone has brought a lot of money into the American economy through advertisements. More money will come in through purchases of his song on iTunes. When he is in town his entourage has to stay at hotels eat food etc... I think he has more than made up for some stupid comments four years ago. I'm not going to hold creative people to some ridiculous standard. Johnny Cash has sung about some crazy stuff and he has played for Presidents. |

No we don't we target specific people. Sometimes civilians get killed in the process that's the way it is and always will be especially when you show them using civilians as shields works.

Until last week I had managed to avoid Psy and Gangnam style. I knew it was going to be annoying and just never clicked on a link. And since I got rid of the telly when we went digital a few months ago I knew that there was such a thing but had never been exposed to it. Like Boxxy (?).
But then a colleague at the special ed. school where I work decided that a Gagnam video of our leavers would be a good send off. (Last year it was 'School's Out' with some nice special effects from the IT dept.)
So I had to allow it into my head. Utter pooe.
If the bugger had said that about my country I wouldn't have had him through the door. Freedom of speech yes, but that doesn't mean you have to shake his hand or have him as a guest. |
