It really bothers me when a clever idea whose biggest merit is the fact that it is so unusual goes viral.
Seriously. Creepy pokemon have been done so often that you could call it a separate genre. Other creepy cartoon characters (specifically the Simpsons and Family Guy) are not far behind.
The best part about seeing this the first time was that it showed a completely novel re-imagining of the subject. Now it isn't new or interesting--it looks very much like the others. |
