Monday, December 10, 2012 8:33:10 PM Holy crap... even if the locations aren't right, that's a ridiculous number of bombs. I'd heard of the Blitz, but don't think I really understood how much happened. |

Saturday, December 08, 2012 3:19:32 PM Very interesting. Does not show the bombs that missed London and landed out in the country due to counter-espionage reporting of hits. There was a doodle-bug landed near my village, but not shown. |

Saturday, December 08, 2012 7:11:38 AM And it still didn't teach us how evil it is for one nation's Government to inflict this type of damage on the innocent civilians of another nation. Hitler still lives on in us. |

Saturday, December 08, 2012 4:09:27 AM Thats interesting, the house I grew up in was hit by an incendiary bomb- and they list a bomb falling nearby at Westfields avenue but not one there. I can't even ask when this happened as my Grandmother and Aunts are now dead. when you stripped the paper off the walls you could see the damage- and the crack which ran all down the house- had it not been a terrace it would have fallen down.... |

Saturday, December 08, 2012 12:31:00 AM Wow! Now I'm going to have to read up on what caused all this hatred to build up. I mean really, how pissed off do you have to be to do this to another nation and another people. Especially if by in large most people involved in the war did not personally know many or any of the opposition. And yes I know that it's a bit ironic considering from what's going on right now with my country. |

Friday, December 07, 2012 11:58:48 PM Had seen this before. Already knew the houses around my area that got hit. We were taken on a Blitz tour as a kid by our school. Nice to know it wasn't made up :P |

Ah, good old fashioned carpet-bombing. We should do more of that. In Afghanastan for instance. |

Friday, December 07, 2012 7:02:47 PM Interesting, but the red pins don't shrink when you expand the view: they block out everything! If you know London well, you can zoom right in, but I don't know it at all. I'd have prefered a better "wide view" not covered with huge pins... But thanks! It's very cool! |
