Wednesday, December 05, 2012 7:35:01 PM @richanddead: I count 5 states that allow it on your map. The other 44 that have abortion laws (along with most of Europe) are like what I said. If you are declaring what the very small minority does is the same for all, then ask Maryland if it is too late for you, becuase you clearly haven't finished developing your brain yet. |

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 7:19:48 PM Do you know what percentage of abortions occur after 20 weeks in the USA? 1.5%. How many of those do you think are for legitimate medical reasons? I'd say virtually all of them. You don't carry a baby around for 20 weeks and then decide, "I'm too lazy." |

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 5:15:39 PM Or Delaware where you can still get a "partial-birth" abortion. Hell I live in Maryland, and our state does it too, no questions asked! |

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 4:05:20 PM Shush you "pro-life"ers. Those babies are in the final development stages. Abortions are not allowed after the second trimester, basicly before it has a functioning brain. The only time they will allow abortions in later stages is if it is a still-born, or they are sure the mum will die if it stays inside. Those babies are in the final development stages, where it is possible to survive outside the womb. So if it was a emegency they would induce labour or c-section, so not abort at all. |

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 3:48:48 PM Gerry, this is clearly late in the pregnancy. I don't know anyone who would argue that late-stage abortions are fine and dandy unless the mother's life is in danger. And even then, there are usually several other options to be attempted first. |

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 2:10:00 PM That's very strange and uncomfortable to look at for some reason. Glad I'm not a woman, I don't think I could stand having that inside my belly |

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 10:02:00 AM I don't think I've ever heard anyone refer to a late-trimester fetus as a "clump of cells." |

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 9:39:58 AM Not sure about the 'fighting' part, but anyone that claims these two are just a clump of cells, and not human beings, needs their head examined. |

Wednesday, December 05, 2012 7:48:05 AM I saw this the other day. It just looks like they're trying to adjust their positions, not fighting. |
