Monday, December 03, 2012 6:41:31 PM Still sounds better than any rendition Steven Tyler has ever done. Also she is a performance artist. Perhaps that was just her rendition of his rendition. |

Monday, December 03, 2012 1:05:06 PM I liked the Laurie Anderson stuff but that to me still stayed within the stylized structure of contemporary music. The Ono piece was the equivalent of bird song for humans. Like onion powder, garlic salt, and raisinets on your popcorn: It's so bad it's good. |

Sunday, December 02, 2012 7:57:34 PM She's so edgy and raw. Like an obnoxious angst ridden teenager. Who are equally entertaining and thought provoking. She brings so much warmth and hope to all who follow her illustrious career. |

Sunday, December 02, 2012 4:00:52 PM She's not singing the star spangled banner. She's just yelling with no music. It was part of an art installation at MoMA. The music is an over dub. Major troll move.

Sunday, December 02, 2012 3:45:56 PM She was a good artist, not a good singer. And she was not a gold digger...you a$$ clown. She was an established artist before she met John. She didn't even know who he was at first. If she was really a gold digger don't you think she would be selling out John's music. She is very protective of him music and has not remarried or dated since his death. I don;t care for her singing, but to talk poo about her just because everyone else does...I find that stupid. |

Sunday, December 02, 2012 11:16:50 AM Could've left out "The Star Spangled Banner" and just listed this as "Yoko Ono Sings Horribly". |

Sunday, December 02, 2012 8:54:23 AM I've always questioned why we chose "The Star Spangled Banner" as our anthem, I gotta admit it really is melodically awkward, not to mention that it has a ton of other verses that we never get around to because it's so long. "America the Beautiful" is much more sonically pleasing, and more poetic too. |
