School administrators are scared sh*tless of possible lawsuits or angry parents (read "and their kids"), so they cave at the slightest threat and let their teachers catch the blame. Seeing as we are in an "education sucks so let's just fire people en masse" world right now, they realize that firing or punishing teachers placates the torch carrying mob. Throw in that students aren't stupid and see this trend, too, and I have grave doubts about education in this country.
Logic, reason and inquisitive minds no longer run schools. Instead, it is run by fear, superstition and stupidity.

So.. They're not allowed to hear about real world problems in the classroom. I can't even begin to imagine how dull their debate class is. |

8th grade? and they didn't allow this??? a teacher let my ten year old daughter (year 5) sing Ed Sheerans The A Team, ABOUT A JUNKIE WHORE!!!! HELLO??? He got a slap over the wrist he is still teaching, whats worse a junkie whore or a guy being gay??? |
