Who forced Palestinians from their homes? Who carpet bombed the heavily concentrated Gaza strip in 2008, full of women and children? I have made it clear that I don't support Hamas. Why do you support the current Israeli government, who acts like an enabler for Hamas by refusing to concede anything to the more moderate voices?

My Dad actually knows the man speaking in this video. He runs a charity that brings wheel chairs and other necessary aid to residents of the occupied lands. So keep repeating the same propaganda sound bites you hear about the Palestinians not wanting peace. This guy knows a hell of a lot more than you.

If my country somehow managed to annex the entire eastern half of your country and moved in and settled, you'd bet your arse you wouldn't happily let us live in peace.
They don't want to kill the Jews. They want what they quite fairly believe to be their land back. The fact that many of them attempt to do this by killing Jews does not make the means their end. |

If they would stop firing rockets and sending suicide bombers into Israel, they could have peace tomorrow. But they don't want peace; they want to kill the Jews. How do you negotiate with that? |

I'm tired about hearing about this conflict. More people have died in the past few months in Syria than 60 years of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. More people died in the Libyan Civil War. More people have died in the Mexican drug war. More people died in the war in Chechnya.
Also, 80 Tibetans have lit themselves on fire in the past 2 years.
This conflict is still a conflict, yes, but we're constantly led to believe that it's the biggest fracking conflict ever. It's not. There is nothing special about it. Why is it so different? |
