Anyone who has seen the film would have seen the behind the scenes already. Especially the part where Malcolm Mcdowell nearly died. |

It never even occurred to me that his eyes were actually pinned open like that.. So much real looking stuff now-a-days is digital, and it never occurred to me. That had to be terrifying. O_o |

One nice thing about being old is that I got to see this in a very nice theater in its first run before anyone had a chance to tell me anything about it. |

First time I saw this was at a friend's house and I had no clue what the f*ck I had just watched. At the time, Dr. Strangelove & 2001: A Space Odyssey were the only other Kubrick films I had seen and loved them so when this was suggested I was like, "Hell yeah!" I wouldn't say I thought it sucked, but I was just confused or lost or something, didn't know what to think about it. Then after 2 or 3 more times I finally got into it and thought it was brilliant. |

Well done, have a biscuit...
The first time I watched this movie, I really hated it. For reasons unknown I watched it again (rare for me!) and LO! There were parts which were still GHOD-awful, but also parts which were brilliant! And "sex" which even in fast-forward mode is best fast-forwarded through...
So all-in-all, it gets a belated "thumbs up".
Although it has at least two "tropes" which I dispise... |
