Look. I don't believe in God or any part of the bible. However some people that I have a great deal of respect for do. I also know full well that I can never know for sure that God doesn't exist.
However, there is a range of religious people from those that believe in a higher power and view the bible as an allegory all the way to those that take every word of the bible literally and think the world is 6,500 years old.
Those people exist. In droves. I understand if you want to distance yourselves from them, but they do exist and they are just as ridiculous as this guy is pretending to be. Check out the creationist museum in kentucky for proof. |
