@incubus_inc: Yeah, some sort of "track ball" which could be spun in any direction, eh? Those devices can be made so they can turn... not exactly "on a dime" of course! It's cumbersome! |

now this is a great new energy source to exploit for public transportation.
... of course, the little bastards will be organized in now time, demanding fair pay, a 40 hours per week maximum schedule, and paid vacations, so perhaps we should just stick to solar & wind for the time being. |

@kaagan- the hamster probably doesn't produce enough torque / grip to get faster gearing going. But if you got a whole bunch of hamsters together imagine how big and fast a walker you cold make!!!! |
