@Tiredofnicks - I get that there are a fair number of people that use that approach, but don't assume that all who preach or practice abstinence do it with that mindset. I chose not to engage in any sexual relations before marriage. (And yes, I did have opportunity.) However, my parents never taught that sex was bad. I was raised with the belief that it was a wonderful thing, but best suited to being confined within the bonds of marriage. You can all disagree with that - that's fine. Just don't assume that we all hate sex or teach that it is evil. |
