you know;
contrary to popular belief, corporations exist To Make Money, not to give people jobs and health care.
and as long as they are successful if that endeavor they will treat their employees well. But when you take away their money and cut into their profit margin they will shut tight to protect evey red cent. It is their nature

*ding!*

The love for money destroys nations, but it usually destroys people first.

BTW.. wouldn't it have been more fitting to have a pie chart for this?

And... who appointed you ruler of what another business owner does or doe snot with his or her own money?!! I say, "screw you"! Papajohn's doesn't come into your personal finances and tell you what decision to make, do they? He has every right to make the best decisions he can for his company and you high and mighty lefty's are correct then he goes under and if not then he made the right decision. If you lefties are so great then you go run a business and deal with how to reinvest profits with an additional 8 million cut out. Oh wait, you want the government to do everything so nvm.

@lauriloo... If that is true explain the crucfixion of Mitt Romney for being wealthy by the left? Keep in mind the number of jobs he is responsible for creating and the tax revenue those jobs produce.

John Schnatter's cost analysis was wrong. He said it would cost an additional 14 cents per pizza. I posted a link to a Forbes analysis earlier in this thread that said it's closer to 4 or 5 cents a pizza.

and don't tell me i don't "understand" the complexity or whatever excuse you come up with. it isn't brainsurgery and it isn't rocketscience, and yeah those people actualy manage to diagnose, solve problems, construct/operate something that works/heals.

I think free market is a wonderfull idea, suplly and demand. simple. but you only have to take a look at the current economic situation around the world to realize that somewhere, somehow, something isn't working. and i iant heard nobody come up, agree on, build a solution. economist, i'll go and buy a bag of fortune cookies if you don't mind.

"Seriously, why are Economics and Business courses not required?"

Because horoscope and tea leaf reading are not required courses either. If economics were a science how come none of the "big guy's" can agree on a single solution? i'm sorry but if three doctors couldn't agree on a diagnosis and treatment i'd say we'd need better medical staff.
By that _LOGIC_ economist are full of hot air and deserved to be shot on sight. Don't pretend you don't know what i'm talking about, these people are destroying our society, our rights, our welfare and education. and you still assume the position, I hope you enjoy getting shafted.

Gerry1of1-"Because the cost of business is calculated into the price of the product."

Now Gerry, don't start confusing them with complicated concepts. They 'know' the price of product is what it is, and that taxes, labor, infrastructure and raw-material costs have absoluty nothing to do with price.

They just 'know' that everything would be dirt cheap if it weren't run by a bunch of profiteering gluttons.

They already charge you $4 to deliver it, so what's the big f***ing deal? Increase the price of the pizza by ffifty cents instead of fifteen and he can make even more money and no one will even notice...

"Why would you pass the costy off to consumers?"

Because the cost of business is calculated into the price of the product.

What is the point of this? Anytime a business incurs a new expense, they pass it along to the consumer. Every time. Obamacare is a new expense, customers will pay for it. End of story.

Why do people think OTHER people should accept less money so that THEY don't have to pay more? Greed.

"Please one of you libs explain to me when did being successful become a bad or evil thing? "

It's never been a bad thing to be successful. EVERYONE wants to be successful. Putting a small portion your profits ahead of your employees is the evil thing. He could easily get any extra healthcare costs out of the big bonuses PJ pays executives every year and no one would hurt one bit. Or add the damn 5-10 cents to every pizza and shut the hell up. How many times have they raised the cost of pizza because of "fuel costs" and never backed the price down when fuel costs went back down?

It's misleading to give the net income as an absolute number. Sure 55 million sounds like a lot, but the size of the return only means something if you compare it to the size of the investment.

I see this does not mention the $1 million he donated to the Sandy victims nor does it say anything about his long standing support and donations to make a wish foundation. I am sure he donates more to charity in a year than most IAB'ers will make in a life time. Please one of you libs explain to me when did being successful become a bad or evil thing? And please keep in mind they are making pizza's not rocket engines for christ sake. Do any of you actually have any idea what health insurane cost per month for an employee and family? And i dont care what you have been told but it is only going up BECAUSE of Obama care.

VirtualParty-"For your age you know little."

For your age, you obviously do not know what quotation marks mean.

VirtualParty-"Facts that don't agree " & "Facts and figures aren't class warfare."

You keep using that work, I don't think it means what you think it means.

Let me make it simple for you:

In this case, 'opinion' is an attempt to foster class warfare.

Arcval-"It's as basic a right as free speech."

Nope, sorry, that is incorrect.

Greed?? Um, yea if by greed you mean retaining earnings for future projects and capital, or paying out dividends to your stockholders. Seriously, why are Economics and Business courses not required?
