Thursday, November 15, 2012 9:07:51 AM I don't understand praying. God does what he wants. Christians pray that God's will be done, meaning he should do what he plans to do, so why pray to him asking him to do what he will do anyway whether you pray or not? |

Thursday, November 15, 2012 8:21:46 AM If it was more than a book im sure faith wouldnt be the argument to fall back on. My belief tells me you I am right and your belief tells you that you are right. The only difference in our opinions is the validity of the arguments and the validity of the methods supporting each others claims. But all the citations of the book is not going to change my opinion or stop you from telling everyone else that you are right. |

Thursday, November 15, 2012 8:07:06 AM patchouly: If it was only a book of "nothing more than some interesting stories" then it wouldn't be as popular as it is and Christianity wouldn't be the Largest religion in the world. It's much more than a book of "interesting stories" and perhaps if you really read it, especially the New Testament, you'd find that out. |

Thursday, November 15, 2012 8:04:19 AM @patchy As much as I agree I certainly hope most people use their reigion as more of a guideline on how to behave. You know, stuff like, be good to your fellow man, dont maturbate on children and dont eat other peoples cakes... Important things that some people seem to forget ^^ |

Thursday, November 15, 2012 6:53:54 AM Anyone that puts faith ahead of facts is doomed anyway. The brainwashing these poor bastards receive is so complete that they are willing to ignore proof, even when it's right in their faces, and hold onto a book that was written 2000 years ago and contains nothing more than some interesting stories. So far, there is zero proof of the existence of God. None at all. The only reason you believe is because you were told to. You grew up with it. If you are unable to look at your faith and see that there is no substance to it, then it is your own failing as a human being. |

'I'm not this person's judge or jury, or yours either. ' Well, someone has to step up and do it. Okay, I'll be everyone's judge and jury.

Thursday, November 15, 2012 12:18:43 AM What's worse @CrakrJak? HE doesn't know SQUAT about the Bible! Yet he pontificates on it endlessly! I CAUGHT him red handed and bare-faced in a lie... his silence was the loudest answer he could make. Ignore him. He's a 100% troll. No morality, no intelligence behind the comments: only troll. Right @HG? (see, he HAS TO have the last word, it's like a junkie looking at a needle...) |

Wednesday, November 14, 2012 9:57:11 PM However, I do still believe that your nickname is purposefully trollish, despite your claim of it being about 'Zeus'. If it was about Zeus, then perhaps you logically should've picked 'Zeus' or Holy Zeus'. I consider it as trollish as picking the nickname 'Fancysucksss'. |

Wednesday, November 14, 2012 8:35:18 PM HG: If the 'rule' is backed up by the New Testament then it's probably best to follow it. Having said that we have 'rule of law' now, not the rule of religion anymore. Now before you start distorting passages and trying to insinuate that Christians 'pick and choose' the rules, as you have before, Yes I know different churches believe differently on certain subjects. Despite those differences most of them agree on the core principles of Christianity. I'm not a theologian or an evangelical, I have my own beliefs, if you don't believe that's on you. I'm not this person's judge or jury, or yours either. |

Wednesday, November 14, 2012 6:07:48 PM Leviticus 19:28 Yes, it's old Jewish law. It was meant to differentiate the Jews from the pagans. It's backed up by Corinthians "Do not defile your body", so it's still a sin for Christians as well. Then again there are worse sins and tattoos can be removed these days. |
