Only Libya gets "American Help" eh?
The US should never have attacked Libya, and the Europeans were utterly hypocritical to beg for US assistance.
We should not back either side, as we should not get involved. This is not our business. |

As far as I know, it was this event which caused the Hamas rockets, which then triggered the IDF's response...
@antagonizer: The pics at that site that upset you are faked. Your response is to murder millions of Jews, Arabs, Christians and everyone else in Israel? Over some tear-jerking pictures?

I often hear conservatives talk about nuking the middle east into a parking lot...Could we PLEASE at least do Israel?
Maybe it's just the pics of injured kids getting to me, but of any country, they've proven they deserve it the most. |

RT and Fox are not comparable. Fox and MSNBC are. Come on, now.
But reading the way events unfolded, there is so much moral ambiguity in all of this, a common theme in Middle Eastern conflicts. Listen, what are you supposed to do if in a jurisdiction you don't have control of (Gaza), they are firing rockets at you? One even hit a shopping center.
However, if forced to take sides, I would have to take sides with Israel. Though I would acknowledge wrongdoings, I would gladly support the Democratic regime that is an island of science of progress in a sea of regression and oppression. Israeli Arabs have more rights than Arabs in arab countries. That means something.
For those ultra-liberals out there, just imagine that the Arabs were Christian "fundamentalists" like Sarah Palin. Because, I hope you know, they're not secular and progressive people. Then you will understand this perspective. |

@Cajun: When Israel "hit" some Hamas General, they predicted it would bring the rockets, and LO! It did!
#1 What do you do when your neighbor rains rockets on your citizens? Call the UN?
#2 Obama has killed LOTS AND LOTS of "leaders" via drone strikes. It would be the height of hypocricy for him to NOT back Israel on this!
But that's exactly what he will do! Israel has no oil! Just like Syria! Only Libya gets "American Help" eh?
The European Anti-Semites will never allow a Libya-style US support for Israel.
