Its started happening at my plant
Tyco Connectivity - or electronics
Evertime you have a meeting or staff briefing
its recorded.
Try putting your phone on the table and say its on record, they throw a hissy fit.
Things get a bit more diplomatic, tell you that much

I don't know Australian law, but in the United States, if you are in a public place, you may be recorded at any time without your consent unless you have a reasonable expectation of privacy, like in the bathroom or changing rooms.

Are you taking it as your private conversations at the table? I would assume it was only referring to your conversations with employees at the counter.

How could this possibly be illegal?
I just assumed that all fast food restaurants were under surveillance to deter criminal activity, but if it helps assure quality I guess that works too.

Yes, THIS is what you should worry about when you go to McDonald's- not the empty calorie high fat foods.

Don't like it? Don't go. Or get drive-thru.

Link: Seen In A Sydney McDonalds [Pic] [Rate Link] - Isn't this illegal, or against our rights, or just not right, or really unnecessary, or something?
