Tuesday, November 13, 2012 11:54:18 PM @robthelurker there's more to torch cutting than carrying the stuff. The little guy probably knows the kind of tip and pressures required for the kind of job, and how to manipulate the torch for a quicker cut. It's not rocket science, but it's not common knowledge either. |

Tuesday, November 13, 2012 7:33:42 PM so all the little guy does is carry the portable torch? poor big guy, having to share his earnings with some little guy just because he knows he needs a look out. if they are renting the cars, i bet they have a third party, a woman maybe, to rent the cars to make it seem less suspicious. the little guy may even be a woman. maybe its a bonnie and clyde thing, only with out killing a bunch of cops. |

Monday, November 12, 2012 4:24:10 PM Kinda makes you wanna quit your day job. But... if they keep at it, I think they'll eventually get caught. All it takes is one random cop cruising through the parking for no particular reason. |

Monday, November 12, 2012 9:26:25 AM @the_windy: not just any torch, a portable oxyacetylene torch, and one of them does the cutting, the other one carries the load. Do it in the weekends and at night when there's little to no witnesses, and it's probably a good idea to survey the place before getting to it. Oh, and don't forget to use rental cars, and not your mom's Nissan Murano with the chain plate |

Monday, November 12, 2012 8:36:17 AM That's like when we attended the anti-money laundering seminar and they listed 20 'untraceable methods' and the kinds of funds they suited. |
