It's true, I have NO problem with Obama actually writing such a letter, none at all!
However: MOST stuff from politicians is either a form letter OR is entirely written by a staffer.
Any politician, this applies to all of them! Heck, they don't have THAT much time to devote to answering letters or e-mails, tweets, twits, pokes... |

Because he'd already ordered it and the military had asked for one year to study how best to implement and its effect. He gave them that year, they studied and they implemented.
It's not like had to do it. But, listen, I'm not trying to convince you. If you don't believe he's shown enough support, that's fine. I'm just saying that more has been done for the community under his administration than ANY other, regardless of the public face he put on it. He is a politician, after all. |

Cajun, to be sure, even when he said that his position was evolving, he had already ordered the military to work out the repeal of DADT and had issued a memorandum to HHS requiring all hospitals that receive funding/payment from the federal government to allow for same sex partner visitation, health advocacy and permitted medical record access. Both of these happened due to his direct and personal commitment. |

I support gay marriage,
(rather I'm against the state limiting everyone's choices on WHO they can marry)
for that matter I even support polygamy. All of which between consenting adults mind you, not an old guy and several underage girls. I'm rather annoyed that Obama flip-flopped on this issue, first he said he supported it and then his position was "evolving", and then back to supporting it after Biden himself endorsed it. |

Okay, I'm going to go off topic and talk about the golden rule. We often say "treat others as you'd want then to treat you." And that's nice. But, you know what a better goal is? Some call it the platinum rule, and it's a bit more difficult, but it is "treat others as they'd want to be treated."
The difference may seem subtle, but it's actually quite significant. |

@auburnjunky or it could actually be a response written to a letter to the president. i wrote a letter to bush when i was in 3rd grade and got a response. he probably didn't write it himself but i still got a response. you'll always get a response it just might actually be written by a secretary |

The signature difference could easily just be the pen. The signature on the letter in question looks to be sharpie or another thicker pen, making it hard to do the "ba" the same. |

@auburnjunky: Both the pictures of official letters from Obama have two different signatures, either both are fake, one is fake - one is not, or both are legit but his signature is slightly different every time he signs.
Personally, no two of my signatures are exactly the same, but close enough that they are comparable. |
