Tuesday, November 06, 2012 9:06:21 AM If we are now voting based on the whims of Katy Perry then our country is truly dead, no matter who wins. |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 7:28:09 AM I'm surprised they don't just put a cardboard cutout in front of mic. Same level of talent and it's cheaper. |

Tuesday, November 06, 2012 6:54:47 AM A vote for a candidate is not a political agenda. I know because I am a political scientist. Respect my authoritah! |

Monday, November 05, 2012 3:21:25 PM See, that's part of the problem right there. What Katy Perry is doing there is *not* forcing her views on anyone. She's expressing an opinion. However, let's say that she was a state or federal legislator and was among those who passed a law forcing ALL citizens to vote for Obama/Biden. *That* would be forcing her political agenda on us. Kind of like Christians do with their anti-gay, anti-immigrant, anti-woman legislation. There really *is* a difference. |

Monday, November 05, 2012 2:38:01 PM Hey Spermy, if the Commie Muslim Ass Hat wins, can I come live in Australia? I'd take "underwhelmed by our two major parties" over "being rapidly crushed into oblivion by the one currently in power" any day! |

Monday, November 05, 2012 1:15:33 PM She's entitled to her opinion, all of these celebs are, but if you're basing your vote solely on whatever agenda Katy Perry (or Clint Eastwood or Oprah etc.) is pushing, instead of examining the policies and deciding what is in your best interest, maybe you should just stay at home election day. Sadly voting here in Australia is compulsory after you turn 18, and I've been so underwhelmed by our two major parties the last 3 elections that I just didn't bother. |

Monday, November 05, 2012 12:55:03 PM I could not care less who any celebrity votes for...to be honest I could care less who anyone votes for... If you want to go see a celebrity...be it a singer, musician, actor or actress...then you are accepting all that comes with them. If they have an opinion and want their fans to know, you as a fan needs to just deal with it. Why is it a surprise that people have opinions? You think just because you idolize someone or like their entertainment value that they should agree with you on everything? |
