I would gladly watch commercials if I didn't have to pay. I think the entertainment industry should go back to the old product placements. Where the actor would break the scene, look at the camera, bust a quick ad for Lucky Strikes, and then hop right back into the show like it never happened. |

Well, I for me would gladly pay the amount of money for netflix as I pay now for the news server I am using.
If easy access for a fair price exists, people will go for that. Generally speaking people that are downloading music and movies tend to spend more money buying music or movies.
You can make a case that services like netflix and spotify are very likely to draw more people than torrents will. Especially people that are not very computer savvy. |

How is Netflix underhanded with service fee's? I feel like I get a damn good price for what I'm getting. I'm guessing you don't have Netflix and are just slandering their name because you want to sound cool and edgy. |

Well, not sure if hulu will kill Netflix, but Amazon is certainly poised to do it...and as far as torrents go...as old as they are, if they were going to kill Netflix, they would have. |

"underhanded with service fees?" I'm assuming this refers to the mailing of products (which we don't have in Canada). As far as what we get (just streaming) a flat $8 per month is hardly underhanded. |
