Friday, November 02, 2012 10:10:54 PM @sourkraut: you would be hard pressed to find a list of great existentialists that doesn't include Nietzsche. |

Friday, November 02, 2012 7:52:56 PM @Burton Ian: Nietzsche was a nihilist, not an existentialist. Heideggar and Satre are well worth reading, but I'm disappointed no mention was made of Albert Camus. In my eyes the greatest existentialist writer in history... Great post, though, and an equally nice link, Burton... |

Friday, November 02, 2012 5:10:40 PM Awesome quote: “Every true faith is infallible. It performs what the believing person hopes to find in it. But it does not offer the least support for the establishing of an objective truth. Here the ways of men divide. If you want to achieve peace of mind and happiness, have faith. If you want to be a disciple of truth, then search.†|

Friday, November 02, 2012 7:26:03 AM This is awesome; I'm actually taking a course on Existentialism this semester so I shared this with my class! After a bit of research I found that this video is only part one in a three part series. Here are the other videos if anyone is interested! Ep. 1 – Nietzsche Ep. 2 – Heideggar Ep. 3 – Sartre Nietzsche Heidegger Sartre |
