No, they won't.
They fired the dude that green-lit Lost two weeks
before it scored the biggest premiere audience ever
because the pilot was the most expensive ever.
It was their greatest TV success commercially and
the last couple of attempts to duplicate it,
The Event and Flash Forward have been cancelled
early on.
Remember Pixar, the company created by people they laid off
because they didn't believe in computer animation?
They keep buying other peoples' hits because they have
trouble generating new media due to tampering and
internal politics. They always have.
They won't rule anything because they keep tripping over
their own tendency to be over-involved from the top. |
