Whatever they do with the franchise CAN'T be worse than what Lucas himself did with episodes 1-3. I'm glad he sold it. |

$4 billion? I dont blame him. I dont like it, but I would call him an idiot if he didnt take it.
Anyway, 1 billion of that could be handed out to upset fans. Making them incredibly happy fans. |

Saw the first one when it came out, it was ok. Didn't bother with the others although I've seen bits of the second two when they were on telly.
Apparently it was a popular trilogy but they just couldn't stop milking it. Nothing has changed, but for that kind of money who wouldn't sell? |

It would be hard for Disney to create the appeal of the original characters, but I'm sure that, at least, they have enough sense to know what mistakes were made in the three CG-laden prequels. I watch with curiosity. |

It's not necessarily that he went batpoo crazy. It's that he, like anybody else, has good ideas, and bad ideas, and when he was making the original trilogy he had people that would say "Dude, that's stupid." But in making the new trilogy, nobody wanted to tell the "father of Star Wars" that some of the ideas were retarded. |

Why would you feel bad for the fans? It's been liberated from Lucas's Tyrannical clutches. Now he can give ideas and people can go through and pick the good ones, and discard the bad ones, instead of him going unchecked through another movie. |
