Yeah, "bronze" would be hard to capture. She would have needed to intersperse [Sn] over about 10% of her body (depending on the alloy)... I think the prize medal concept holds well enough with copper.

Piperfawn: the third medal is BRONZE, not copper. Okay, it's a copper alloy. I think there's always been a perception that Au, Ag, and Cu are a set because they have long been used in coin-making. (Add zinc nowadays, I suppose!) |

They're pretty cleverly done. And appropriate if they're a group of chemistry majors or something. I'm confused, though, by the fact that there's two groups with exactly the same choices of element. Are these recognised costumes from some comic book or something? Because whilst I can see two different groups both randomly choosing Gold and Silver to put together, both groups deciding to accompany those precious metals with the non-precious metal Copper seems a little random. |

Or Flavium and dress as a huge atom with marshmallows as protons and neutrons (different colours of course) and m & m's (or something) as electrons, and then joke all night about getting ionized or decaying while eating candy. |
